Direct Billing & Insurance for Winnipeg Physiotherapy

A doctor's referral is not required for private or extended health claims in Manitoba. Motion Science provides direct billing to major providers like Manitoba Blue Cross, Canada Life, and Sun Life. MPI and WCB cover approved accident and workplace rehabilitation claims when you bring your claim number.

Will MPI or WCB Cover my Physical Therapy Treatment?

Manitoba Public Insurance and Workers Compensation Board will pay for physiotherapy rehabilitation services related to motor vehicle and workplace-related injuries respectively. You are required to report the incident and obtain a injury claim number prior to your visit. WCB and MPI will cover the intial assessment cost regardless of the claim outcome. Subsequent sessions will need to be appoved for therapy to continue.
